A ZB Lowndes Question :

Post by SmartBeans » Sun Sep 23, 2018 1:23 pm

Hi,
I am just wondering who is :

Looking forward to CC release of the ZB "not-a" Commodore this month :

(a) Just to complete their Lowndes Collection
(b) Because they think its a good looking Car

Me :: I have 1x 1:18 pre-ordered - I personally hate the look of the Car - I also am not a fan of CC diecasts since they have stopped producing them with opening parts. I used to buy 2 off all Brock & Lowndes products, But now 1 of these sealed items is enough - especially when their fellow diecast companies can produce opening diecasts for only @$30 more ?

It will be interesting to see IF / What replies I get on here - My stockist says most of their customers are of the same opinion of the ZB as I am.

Thanks

I'm considering it.

The Biante ZB mold will be much better, but as CC have the T8 cars which I like best, Autobarn, then Red Bull.

No point buying an FG-X as the Mustang will replace it next year.

I'll buy one in 1:43, just to have a last full season car in my Lowndes collection.

I will do this though through gritted teeth, as I detest to black window "toy car" look of CC's 1:43 offerings.
Cheers...Dave

I've always referred to the non-opening 1:18's by CC as oversized matchbox cars !!
