What is the True story on the VH Commodore 1:18 Releases ?

The shop I deal with has been told that he can't actually pre-order any of these releases :

Holden VH Commodore 1983 Bathurst 3rd Place
Item number: 18457
Holden VH Commodore 1984 ATCC 2nd Place
Item number: 18548
Holden VH Commodore 1983 Bathurst
Item number: 18713

He's been told that once they are available its going to be a case of first in gets them :

Yet, I have seen multiple posts on facebook etc etc where the shops are wanting Deposits - saying that they will then be guaranteed ??

There are going to be only 300 of each release ??

Initially I wasn't going to be too fused on any of them, but then I thought I'd like at least 2 of them I rang the shop I deal with & told him the 2 I would like - he tried to pre-order them & that was what he was told !!??

Looking at the last Post on this Forum - I am not expecting any reply from CC, But If there is someone on here that can share some info - that would be great.

When the order forms come out we will be preordering them. The order form is due to come out in March.
