Dick Johnson Greens Tuff Mustang
Can it really be true somebody has finally gone out on a limb for this model.
Re: Dick Johnson Greens Tuff Mustang
It would appear that Ryan Story is not happy about the upcoming production of this and has made several comments on Facebook
Re: Dick Johnson Greens Tuff Mustang
CC made the Bartlett Camaro a while ago now, and the Greens-Tuf Mustang is similarly low in release variants. In a rare move here, I'm actually going to commend CC on announcing it, and am hoping it's up to scratch. It's been an obvious gap for collectors for a long time, being the last remaining DJR ATCC/Bathurst car not yet released.
Of Course Doc Ryan won't like it, there's no deal between DTRTP and CC, so not much in it for them.

i read elsewhere that DJ's daughter says that DJ has not given any approval for the model to be made, nor has he been approached.
I'm only relaying what i read elsewhere

Re: Dick Johnson Greens Tuff Mustang
So unbelievably happy someone has finally decided to this model.
Classics deserve a real rap for deciding to go to something new & different for collectors

Re: Dick Johnson Greens Tuff Mustang
It will be the same detail as the earlier release. The only differences are stickers for bonnet pins, a lower wiper position, and potentially a more balanced stance (it's hard to tell from the few photos released already). However, the decals aren't as accurate as the original if the sample is anything to go by. The #9 on the door looks too small and I don't recall that Ford decal underneath the mirror.

Re: Dick Johnson Greens Tuff Mustang
Re: Moffat Mustang. Ford sticker on the door under the mirror was there for some rounds. The white square and number 9 is all wrong. Too small and the wrong angle. No thanks, I sold my original one because of bad detail and discrepancies and loose wobbly wheels, so I certainly wont be buying this one.
