Alot of people like picking on CC - But Biante have their issues

Post by SmartBeans » Mon Mar 13, 2017 7:01 pm

I like most other people think it's time that Classic Carlectable start producing decent diecasts with opening parts etc > IF Biante can go through the process of making Diecasts with opening parts & THEN sell them for a Similar price to Classic Carlectable's "Bricks" >> Then It's time that CC have a rethink about their products they produce ::

But, Having said that >> I think Biante are having their own issues :: They are constantly saying things like they've been "short supplied" etc etc.

What I think is that Biante are ordering XXX amount - But are only getting half what they order - probably because of quality control.

Look at the Lowndes / Richards 1:12 >> They said they were producing 888 of them, But only around 600 actually made it to Australia - which meant some shops were "short supplied"

The same thing with the latest Johnson / Bowe Sierra >> again shops were "Short supplied"

There were issues with the Mercedes 1:18 V8 Supercars >> a lot had wings that were either loose, connected on one side, or completely off the car

The same thing again and again >> Its getting a familiar catch-cry from Biante.

I just think people aren't posting their Biante issues like they enjoy posting their CC issues

I also think it's time that Apex, Biante & Classic Carlectables look at which shops they are "short supplying" ( IT is happening a lot these days from all 3 Companies )

For example ::

There are shops that may get "Short Supplied" - But all their pre-orders ARE actual Customer pre-orders. So there are actual collectors who miss out.

Then there are the shops that just order X amount - who just place them up on ebay.

I know of one shop that used to ( I don't know if they still do ) Order X amount - Keep some "upstairs", Then after a period they would tell customers they have been able to "find" some & sell them at inflated prices.

I just think its time that they all look at which models are appearing on ebay from which shops & then work out which shops Should be Short Supplied & which shops have actual Customer ( collectors ) Pre-orders & maybe they shouldn't be short supplied ( as much )

I've been collecting diecasts from way back when Biante produced the first Craig Lowndes 1:18 ( 1999 VT ) - so I've heard a lot of stories from shops & suppliers. Even though collecting Diecasts back then was a lot more popular than what it is now - IT was more fun back then & a lot less lies.

You even have shops these days that "forget" to place pre-orders ??? That is another reason why suppliers have to start "short supplying" :::

Code: Select all

This is exactly what I am talking about >> ALL Shops were cut back >> which means there are actual Collectors that took the time to Pre-Order at their local shops and are Missing out & Then here's a shop that get enough to be able to rip off buyers.

Biante should take the time to address this situation :: I think IF shops can show actual customer pre-orders, they shouldn't be cut back. But IF shops just order x amount with NO actual customer pre-orders - then they are the shops which should be cut back.

I want this diecast - But it isn't "worth" $295
