Hi Peter.

Not usually reviewing as such (model makers are amazingly sensitive about criticism, it seems). Where possible, I'll be following the magazine's main stories.

so any good 1/43 Brabham models made in F1 Don't know about good, but the Brumm Cooper T53 and the Onyx Brabham BT23 mentioned on page one are both in 1/43. I'd say there are Quartzo models out there too - just a matter of looking. Certainly there was a Quartzo Lotus 25 that Sir Jack drove at Monac...

Actually Ken, I think the Redex Special was a Cooper-Bristol that just happened to be called that to try to get away with the sponsorship. I could well be wrong and I'd have to check. But I've seen the model - it's a good one and worth getting. JB's speedway special was sold to another speedway driv...

I have a 1967 BT 23 (Denny Hulme) from Quartzo and a 1960 Cooper T53 from Brumm (autographed). I also have a kit (1/24) of a Brabham F3 car. Tamiya also do a couple of early Brabhams - but they were customer cars, not necessarily driven by Sir Jack. Search ebay under 'Brabham' - there are sometimes ...
